About Madeline
Madeline received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University in 2014. After graduating, she relocated to Arizona where she developed a passion for learning about the field of oncology and for treating the oncology population. She became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist from Klose Training as well as a Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2016. After becoming a Certified Lymphedema Therapist she began an oncology rehab program and protocol at Honor Health Inpatient Rehab Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona. As an Asheville native she decided to return to WNC in 2018. When she returned to Asheville she began working at the CarePartners Outpatient Clinic at the SECU Cancer Center. At the SECU Cancer Center she worked closely with the head and neck cancer tumor board. She created and carried out a head and neck cancer and lymphedema therapy prevention and treatment protocol at the SECU Cancer Center. Now, as a part of the Thrive Therapeutics Asheville team, she plans to dedicate her career to the oncology and lymphedema therapy field with a commitment to improving her patient’s quality of life throughout the continuum of their care.
